This camera has tons of features that I haven’t tried yet. I taped a hockey tournament and banquet and found the camera identical slow to use. I alike the dual zoom feature-the zoom on the incline goes slow/fast depending on how far you push the bar. On the handgrip you can select slow Sony HDR-FX7 or flying zoom and thats nice for doing music videos equally it pans in and out at a fixed rate regardless of how far you button the bar. The levelheaded recording is smashing merely it picks up voices in back of the camera also thence I’m travelling to invest in a directional mic. The viewfinder swivels about 90 degrees so you can peak the camera about straight up such as filming the release of balloons. You dont get to bend your head altogether the fashion back as you do with fixed viewfinders. Completely the controls are slowly to exercise with your pass under the clutch strap. The lens hood has a made in lens track which is a nice touch. This camera does the 1080i HD and uses iLink to download to your computer. I usage Studio 12 to build my movies simply studio 12 requires 2.66 GHz of processing power for HD and I solely get 1.8GHz. The camera can convert your HD to standard def with a built-in positioning on the iLink screen.
