I had Samsung LCD that gone negative after about 1 . 5 years. After months of research, finally bought this TV. Should you be confused between Brought and Plasma, without doubt plasma is better, picture quality is just lot better. I was lucky to view this TV along with Samsung UN51D8000 side by side and PN51D8000 picture quality in this Television set is so superior. Brand-new high end LEDs look really good and obviously very thin and light. Intelligent features are identical in both. However newer plasmas are realistically thinner and light. In fact this Tv set is thinner when compared with my previous 2 year previous LCD TV. I bought this kind of TV about a week ago from Amazon online, sourced from Electronics Expo. This is a very nice Television set, couldnt be more happy. I almost bought Samsung LED yet thanks to visit to community BB store and thanks to salesperson bought this. I’m guilty that I just didn’t buy from BB but employed their store for comparison. BB was selling for almost $600 more than Amazon, fat loss they could price go with Amazon price

Search: Fair. It has about 1.5 inch casing on the side and 2 inches at the bottom. Stand is sweet.
Inputs: I think Some HDMI, 1 visual audio out, 1 AV and one circle port. If you use Nintendo wii console then you use up Audio-video port. If you have some other component output gadget then you will have problems
Picture: Colors tend to be near perfect along with rich natural shades. Blacks are amazing. Didn’t notice any kind of screen imperfections. Glare is much lower than LED, huge advantage if you have ambient lighting. I don’t have Animations glasses so simply no comments
Sound: Simple to Average. We’ve receiver with exterior speaker
Setup: Food selection layout is nice, comparable to my old Straight talk samsung. Very easy. I am however to do any adjusting. Out of the box modes tend to be decent.
Smart TV: Nice. Since this engineering is still in its infancy, its not perfect. Wi-fi connects to home system in 10 seconds. User interface is decent. Efficiency is little slow nevertheless works. Apps as if you Tube are below average, I don’t like them, search feature of this App is ineffective, needs more perform. Did not try Video on demand. Hulu is OK. Web browser, performs but useless, unclear why would you wish to use browser on TV. I tried some websites similar to PBSkids and Bravo and they also didnt work well. Widespread search is nice. DLNA is nice, no issues. Can play view as well as photo from PC without any issues. I’m testing Play-On media machine and it is working Alright.
TV remote is good, qwerty keyboard works
For the price ~1500, this is extremely good buy

Coming from an “old” 720p Panasonic lcd, I had high desires for this TV and also boy did it produce.
