I bought this during a lightning sale on a whim. Postulated a new laptop to replace my 3.5 yr old HP laptop that was starting to freak away on me, simply hadn’t done likewise much enquiry yet. I’m moderately satisfied so far, simply worried nigh what’s to come due to some minor problems I’ve had already.
For starters, the DVD/CD drive is extremely hard to open. Not sure if I merely got a lemon, but I have to press Manner also hard on the subject push to get it to subject and it takes several tries to do it. I fearfulness this drive might not open altogether soon. I’ve believed sending it back due to this concern, simply consider it might exist besides much of a hassle for something I’m not surely is a vast problem. The other headache is that, when I conveyed it out of “sleep” way the other day, the screen commenced freaking out and showing some lines across it. Computer had to be restarted and it’s worked fine since then. Possibly this was a one-time thing. Having received the computer for alone two weeks, I’m getting a bad vibe.
The other issue I receive is that I’m not super comfortable utilizing the keyboard and mouse. It may but accept getting utilized to. My old HP is identical alike to this one equally far as the smell and layout. Yet, the keys on this are rocky and build loudly clicking sounds when I character or press the mouse buttons. My old HP was more tacit when I typed and clicked the mouse buttons and seemed dv6-6115nr to exist more smooth when doing this. Also, when I motion the mouse across the screen, it appears to slide faster than I base for it to. Like, I’m trying to mouse over a berth on my screen and the arrow SLIDES slightly past the direct I’m aiming for and I receive to glide it back. Kind of annoying.
